Rooms and availability
1 Double bed
You have to go through the club to get to the rooms. No tea making facilities in room.
New refurbished, clean rooms of reasonable size, friendly and helpful staff, good shower with abundant hot water, proper tv set.
The first sight of the car park in front can frighten off the less seasoned guests. In the double-bed room a second night table with a reading lamp would be nice, so would be a shelf under bathroom mirror. I had to put my toiletries on a top of the wc flush-tank. WI-Fi worked only occasionally.
The staff were so friendly and helpful. My room was clean with all normal facilities. Most comfortable bed I've slept in for ages. Food was really good value and there was lots of it..tasty too.TV was a nice big flat screen and unusually had all the channells programmed in.
Towel in room was damp, clean but had been taken out of tumble dryer too soon. Could really do with tea/coffee making facilities in the room, otherwise it was excellent
Room was modern and clean and comfortable.
No tea/coffee facilities or kettle in room.
very comfortable and quiet
2 much light in the rooms
Everything, nothing was to much trouble for either Sue or Becky. Will definetly go back again.
the light over the door from the hallway on and off all the time which woke me. They need to cover the glass at top of door to stop light entering room when someone uses hallway as sensor operates light. never got proper sleep on either of my stays.
Staff were friendly made you feel at home...room was clean tidy and shower was amazing...food was great value for money...would definitely go back
friendliness and cleanliness
wasnt anything i didnt like, although tea making facilities would be nice.
Staff were excellent and very accomodating, room was clean although basic. Food was great and fantastic value for money.
The large window above the front door was a nightmare in the evening as the room stayed fairly well lit due to the hallway lights that were on constantly. The walls were paper thin so we didn't get much sleep (even with ear plugs!) and the noise from the karaoke bar was audible even from as far away as we were. If you don't mind the above then it's a great place to stay on a budget.
The room was clean
many things- the 'reception' was the bar, where we were looked at but ignored by 3 individual staff. Once we had been seen we were shown to our room which was right next to the door to the bar area & the fire exit which was being used by the smokers in the club - so the door was opening & slamming all night. The music was very loud & went on 'officially' until 1am but was still playing after that. The walls of the rooms are very thin, so much so that we could hear the couple next door's conversations not to mention what else they got up to. The glass above the door let in light ALL night and there were no tea/coffee making facilities. when we went to the bar in the morning to drop our room key off, there was nobody around despite shouting hello for a while. So we just put the key on the bar & left....very poor welcome & departure! -
Good value; very clean; friendly; breakfast was tasty and value for money.
The clear panel over the door which lets the timer light keep you awake; Hanging hooks over the bed (room 6) which means your clothes are on top of you in bed.
We were attending a wedding nearby and just wanted one night stay . The hotel was very clean and very good value.
There wasn't a glass in the bathroom in wich to rinse your mouth after brushing your teeth.
Rooms were clean & tidy and did the job. The staff were friendly and the club had a nice relaxed atmosphere. We enjoyed our stay.
Check in process at the bar could be improved. Breakfast was cheap and cheerful but would prefer to pay a little more and have some decent sausages.
the value for money. The beer garden, the cleanliness of the rooms.
no mirror in room, no fan in bathroom, not enough drawer space for clothes. no tea/coffee making facilities in room, no glasses for water.
